During a recent visit to Illinois, I purchased a bunch of old photos. One of the photos shows a young man and is labeled on the reverse "H.J. Clinebell". Unfortunately I do not know where this 1920s photo was taken. Maybe someone will recognize one of their ancestors.

Attached is a copy of the photo. If this is one of your ancestors, please contact me.

Joyce, I am sorry I have looked at this several times and it didn't register until now. I have an Albert Benjamin Clinebell (1869-1932) who married an Inez Leonard (1888 Erie, Pa-1916) in 1891 Glasford, Il. Together they had two children that died before adulthood. After Inez died, Albert married Ella Beitz and together they had a son Willis who was killed in WWII. Hope this finds you and is of interest.

Clinebell

Am interested in any information concerning Clinebell or Kleinboehl. My great great grandfather was George probably "Kleinboehl" who was born in Germany about 1822. He came to the US about 1845 with a wife Name unknown. They had a daughter named Louise and the wife died here. George returned to Germany and married Maria Christina Roth, who was born in 1828. We beleive that George had a brother Julius, who was lost track of; as was Louise. Her name may have been Ludwig, and she may have lived in the St. Louis area. Any interest??? or Knowledge???
