Turns out by 2011 the spelling has been found to be KLINK.
I have found C. G. Klink onboard ship coming into Nome AK about 1901....dont have the article in front of me...could be 1904.
Nome's Goldrush was ongoing. Likely Ivan Peterson may have met C. G. Klink in Nome. By late 1920s Ivan is in Chickaloon with his drilling operation for oil / gas & his camp mgr is a Mr. Klink. Mrs Klink is the camp cook.

I am very interested where the info about:

The earliest Klink records in North America indicate that a Johannes Jacob Klinck, and a Michael Klinck arrived in the year 1754 at the port of Philadelphia, PA. Jacob it is stated in the original records in a report of his departure by his minister is from small town in Wuertemberg, Germany.

He appears to be my 7th great-grandfather and I am trying to make the jump back to Germany.

He seems to have died around 1802-1812 depending on various trees in the Albany New York area.

Looking for a Mr. & Mrs Clink who were in Chickaloon Alaska in 1930 working at an oil drilling site for Ivan Peterson of Burlingame California.
I dont know the first names of the Clinks. I have photos of them taken in Alaska. One photo is labeled The Clinks. She was a cook. He was camp manager drilling for natural gas & oil. Unknown where they went after the drilling operation ws shut down about 1931.

I don't know whether or not you are still around, Donald. But my name is also "Donald Clink". I am the great grandson of Stephen Henry Junior. My grandfather William Henry Clink moved to North-Western Ontario, near Fort Frances. I have lived in that district all of my life, and still do. I can provide information concerning Stephen Henry Jr.'s descendants, and especially those of my line, that is, William Henry's descendants.

There is a Sarah Clink who married John Terry of Swansea RI, not sure when, but it would be 1700's. She is buried in the terry family cemetery in Albany NY. M.E.

Donald, my name is also Donald Clink. I am a direct descendant of Stephen Henry Clink b. 1820.

Do you happen to know the date of his birth?

By the way, your closer relative William, who wrote Lambton & Kent as well as Trafalgar Road visited me here in North-Western Ontario a few years before he died. A couple of years later his widow brought me the original tomb stone of Stephen Klink, b. August 2, 1786.

I think you're combining data on two unrelated Clink families. Some of this pertains to different Clinks.

I recently dug up a branch of Clinks that married into the Horton family I'm researching. (See Horton, George Firman. Chronicles of the Horton Family. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Home Circle Publishing Company, 1876.)

My William Clink was born August of 1844 in probably Green Springs, Ohio. He married Ann Elizabeth Horton about 1873, probably in Green Springs or around Republic or Tiffin, Ohio.

William and Ann Elizabeth (called Libbie) had ten children, and I'm still working out the details on all of them, but at least 4 died before they left Ohio- Glen, Nellie, plus Mary and one other.

The other children were Bertha (born in Ohio, 1879), Juanita (born Ohio, 1881), Frank Horton Clink (b. Garden City Kansas Feb 2, 1889), and Eulah (and/or Marie b. Colorado 1893). Trying to figure out if Eulah and Marie were the same person.

Libbie and William left Ohio and moved to Kansas; Swink, Colorado; Pueblo, Colorado; then the area in/around Los Angeles, California.

Frank Horton Clink (middle name for his mother's maiden name)married at least two times that I've found: the first time to Charlotte Guise (m. June 4, 1912, divorced 1919). The second time to Lottie Canterburry (Oct 9, 1919). There may have been an even earlier marriage.

Frank Horton Clink is buried with this family of Clinks (mother and at least one sister) at Inglewood Cemetery in Los Angeles. Hope this helps to keep them straight.

I am the great great granddaughter of John Clink who was born 14 Dec 1814 in New York state. He later lived in Bradford County, PA. He married Phoebe Ann Pratt and they moved to Lee County, Illinois around 1843. Other Clinks living in Illinois in the early 1800's were Stephen, David and Alpheus. Seeking information on the above mentioned names. Sometime back two researchers placed queries on the Clink's of Oregon: Cheryl Karchut and Marian Hanson. I haven't been able to locate either.

Fernie Wilma (Randall) and William had five children: Charley, Ethel May, Willard J., Delbert W., and Ruth E.

Ethel May (b. 1914) married Walter M. Scott 1935 in Oklahoma.
