My Great-Grandfather is James M. Clipper, however my Grandfather is William Klipper, so the spelling was changes somewhere along the line. I found James Clipper on the 1880 Census in Jefferson County, MO. This line of Klipper's were from Germany. My mother's family were born and raised in Southeast MO.
