ALEX CLOUTIER & IRENE BEDARD CLOUTIER

Alex CLOUTIER worked at the Saw Mill before being employed on the Soo Line Railroad. He continued working for the Soo Line 43 years. He served his country in WWI, being called back fra France - a few months after the war ended - to take care of four nephews and his mother.
The flu epidemic in Thief River Falls had taken the lives of his brother: Arthus and wife. The nephews were well known in the community:

Alex resumed work on the Soo Line. In 1933, he married Irene BEDARD of Argyle, MN. Alex and Irene had a daughter: Gloria and a son: Arthur.
