Lowell Clowers 1930 Tacoma WA

And I thought my grandparents were hiding, with shotgun in hand, from the census takers all this time! In the 1930 census, I found the Clowers family is indexed as "CLIMES" in Tacoma, WA! Who woulda thunk it.
Lowell L Clowers, wife Esma (EDNA on the census), Lowell Jr, Alice L (my mother), and great-gram Alice all living on the same street I lived on in grade school.
I have searched every which way: Clovers, Glover, etc. I just applied for a passport and my birth certificate lists mom as ALICE ELOWERS.
Great-great grampa James Madison Clowers, d. 1900, is buried in Tenino, Thurston Co, WA but on the transcribed tombstone record his surname is GLOWER.
How I found LOWELL CLOWERS: I searched by first name, city and state. Lucky he wasn't another John or James.
Elizabeth (Clowers) ARWOOD 1878 TN

I am seeking any information on my g grandmother and/or
ancestors. Her name was Elizabeth Clowers, married to
John Arwood in 1878, from TN, probably the Sweetwater or
Madisonville area. I seemed to have hit a brick wall. Her daughter (my grandmother) was Martha Arwood-married to
James Hull. Would you happen to have any information on any
of any of the above mentioned. Anything you have is greatly
appreciated.
