This may be of no value, but I have history and family tree of Paulus Vanderbeck from Amsterdam, Holland. Had arrived to New York in 1623. He had two sons Abraham and Cornelius. Abraham moved to Hackensack, New Jersey, married Sara Akerman. They had two sons, George, and Abraham. This son Abraham took the side of the British in the war of Independance, and was driven from his farm. He, and a cousin Cornelius Akerman came to Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada with the Loyalist in 1783. Scores of very fragile letters to New york and new Jersey Law professionals trying to return to there 100 Acre farm in Hackensack remain in my possession.
