TO ALL: Question...I have always thought that
the family line went has followed:
Daniel Clyde 1683 born Ireland
Hugh Clyde 1724 born Ireland
William Hugh Clyde born (papers are at home)
Hugh R. Clyde (my greatgrandfather born N.H.
Thomas Grant Clyde grandfather born N.Y.
Jesse Clyde father born Pa.
Helen (Clyde) Whiteman

We could never find any documents that stated
that Hugh Clyde(born 1724) son was William
Hugh Clyde, I know that Hugh had a son named
William and that there was a William Hugh
Clyde born around the right time...But is
William Hugh Clyde's father Hugh(born 1724 or
not...My records on William Hugh Clyde says
that he was born 1760 in Ireland..I have
a family history that also has William's
children listed and they don't mention a son
name Hugh(my grandfather)...I have records
showing grandfather Hugh's dad was (William).
But William Hugh Clyde????

Was William Hugh Clyde married twice?

If William Hugh Clyde came from Ireland, he
couldn't be the son of Hugh Clyde(born 1724).
Cause Hugh Clyde came to the U.S. in 1730..

I have quite a bit of information on Hugh
Clyde (born 1792?) my greatrandfather
children and his brothers James and William.
The other brother George Washington I have
very little, but you have that.

Need earlier info on the Clyde's. I have
Daniel Esther Rankin Clyde arrival info to
U.S. their children names, spouses, DOB,

Have little on Hugh Sarah Moffitt Clyde..

I will be willing to share my address or
e-mail address to share info...
