Chapman. Covenanter. Prisoner in Edinburgh Tolbooth. Banished to the Plantations in the Indies, 7 November 1678. Transported from Leith on the "St. Michael of Scarborough" master Edward Johnston, 12 December 1678.

I am not related to this family, I am just passing on this information, which comes from a book titled " Scots Banished to the American Plantations" 1650-1775 by David Dobson. Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. 1983. pg. 31.
