I am searching for information on my Great Grandfather William Cobb. Here is what I know. William Cobb was born in Prospect, Virginia. He Married Mary Hairston (born in 1897) in 1915. They had two daughters, Virginia born in 1923 and Catherine (my grandmother) born in 1925 both in Vivian, or Welch West Virgina.

Mary and William divorced or separated at some point. I am not sure of when. She remarried a man named Haynes and moved to Detroit. The girls never knew much about their bilogical father and this has me intrigued.
