      <title>Town of Cobbler, Missouri</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.cobbler/3/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I am seeking information of a twon called Cobbler, Missouri that existed in Eastern Jackson County up until about 1863. I have found a huge cemetary near there. I feel the cemetary is related to the town, and that the town is named for a member of the Cobbler family, who lived in Jackson County at the time. The cemetary headstones list dates 1821-1967. It does not appear on any map or listingI have found. The Polk County Oregon census of 1870 has two entries listing this town as the birthplace. &lt;br&gt;Reed, Mary Ellen Nowder and Stone, Cerilda. There is also a Cobbler Road in this area. If I can learn more of the town's history it may help me document and map the cemetary. Any new information would be greatly appreciated.&lt;br&gt;</description>
