Surnames: COCA, DE MONCADA, DODGE, TAYLOR
Hi folks,
I'm doing some research for a friend of mine. His surname is COCA, & I believe he grew up in the Long Island/NYC areA. His primary research interest is in his mother's line. (He's already done his father's.) Anyway, I'm writing to the COCA message board in hopes that an in-law or distant relative might be know of his mother's line & point me in the right direction.
This is the info I have thus far:
My friend's mother is/was Patricia COCA, nee DE MONCADA. She was born in New York cira 1925, the fourth child of Helen A. DE MONCADA, nee TAYLOR, & ? DE MONCADA. According to the 1930 U.S. Census for Philadephia, PA, Helen was born in PA, while her husband was born in Columbia, South America. Any further info would be greatly appreciated.
