Hi Cecil,

Talk about a delayed reaction! Sorry, I couldn't resist that, since I checked, and my post was dated 2002.

Nevertheless, I'd be happy to share what little that I have on the COES with you. One of them married a MCCALL, so I ran across them while researching my MCCALL line. If you email me, I'll send you the info that I have.

Happy Hunting,
jan

My great great grandfather was Edward Coes. The only chid that I know of was John Douglas Coes (1862-1941), but he may have had 2 other brothers. John married Alveretta Louis Straight (1867-1947). They had 2 children; Roland Pugsley Coes (August 9, 1901-1972) and Blanche Areta Coes(June 21,1983-1947). Blanche married Charles Arthur Britten. Roalnd married Annie Emerson Rolston (1902-1965). They had one son : William Roland Coes (April23, 1928- May 13,1975). All of this Coes line was from New Brunswick, Canada.
