My grandfather was Jeremiah Coffey (married to Frances (Fannie) Penfold. I have no idea of where he was born, but I do know he was of Irishextraction. He died in Montreal Quebec Canada in about 1936/7. He had several sons and daughters who survived him. I vaguely recall my mother saying that some of the Coffeys had come to the Midwest(possibly Kansas). I know that he was in Quebec in the 1890's but he may also have been in the province of Ontario. He workedfor the Canadian Postal Service and possibly for the CanadianNational RR since my grandmother had a lifetme pass. If your Jeremiah had a son who come over then (or even himself) I'd appreciate knowing. I'm having trouble finding my Canadian relatives. Thanks Mary
