I recently acquired a pocket watch that was presented to John Cogan, probably posthumously, that recogized his bravery in WW1. He was killed in action in September of 1917. According to the little information I have found, he was a member of the Durham Light Infantry and birthplace listed as Newcastle-On-Tyne. This is a very nice watch with a beautiful inscription and I would like to find any family to pass it on to.
Thank
