Mabel was my aunt. I was able to meet
and visit with her a couple of times before she died in 1986. (I have some photos of those visits.) Her niece is my mother, Virginia Cokenour Carroll, who is now 93.

I am also very interested in the Cokenour ancestors, William Cross and Ascha McKean and their daughter Dendalina Cross who was married to Alfred Cokenour.

Would love to hear from you.
Yes, I do have more info and a not-too-clear photo of Theodore and Mary Jane, and some of their children. I am descended from their son Roy. How are you related? You can e-mail me at Ryanjoanf@aol.com. I have very little time on the computer and no scanner, but I would be happy to mail you any info that I have that may be useful to you. Joan Ryan

Theodore "Doc" Cokenour

My grgrandfather George W. was Theodores' brother if this is the right one. I have Theodores' name as Alfred Theodore "Doc" Cokenour. Their parents were Alfred C. and "Dalina" Cross. A relative was tracing the family tree and gave my mom this information. She had on the papers that Theodore married Molly ?. The only reason that I think that this is the same family is that the children that are listed are Roy, Henry, Paul, Mabel and Mildred. They are all from Ill. and and moved to Oxford, Sumner Co., KS. This has to be the same family and I would love to hear from you. You can contact me at tamis@olypen.com. Would love to swap information with you.
