I see your various posts here and on the Cole board at GenForum regarding John M. Cole and Nancy Harden. I believe there is some confusion about this family.

This is the current text in my manuscript for John Cole and Nancy Harden:

John R.7 Cole (Nathan6, John5, John4, John3, Hugh2, James1), b. 1789 in NY [Weethee, p. 47]; m. 23 July 1807 in Washington Co., OH, to Nancy Harden [Washington Co. Marriages, p. 15—both of Marietta].

It is probably this John R. Cole listed on the 1870 census in Gallipolis, Gallia Co., OH, dwelling #131: John R. Cole, farmer age 81 b. NY; Susan F. 58 OH; and Austin C. Jones 20 OH farm hand.

Susan F. Cole, identified as the wife of John R., d. 20 Oct 1873, age 61y 7m 15d, and is buried in Maddy Cemetery in Addison, Gallia Co., OH. John’s gravestone has not been located, but family members of John’s sisters Clarissa and Diana are buried in Maddy Cemetery [Gallia Co. Cemeteries]

A Public Family Tree on Ancestry lists John M. Cole (1818-1911) m. Nancy Puckett. The list of their children matches the names you've provided elsewhere, including William Franklin Cole. I think this is probably your family.
