Much of the following info is not proven but it is a place to start.
John Cole, born about 1630, was the youngest son of William Cole and Elizabeth Doughty. John married Mary Chilson on Dec 23, 1658 in Saco. Their son Joseph, born March 24, 1661 in Saco married Sarah Randall. Joseph and a son were killed in an Indian raid at Saco on Aug 10, 1703. His wife and three daughters were taken to Quebec where one died soon thereafter. More info can be found in the Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire page 156.
