My grandfather followed his brother to the US into Pennsylvania. He never said why he came to the US. His brother was his best friend. They had a daughter that was born on the ship when the immigrated to the US. All together they had ten children. Most of his children lived in and around California, PA. Two moved to Michigan. I wich I knew how to find records in Belgium but do not know how. All of the original family have died. There are a few of us first cousins still alive, we do stay in touch and get together once a year in Md. We are in our seventies and eighties.
