The only Colley's I know of in Nova Scotia were my step-grandfather's family. They are the descendents of Sir John Wentworth, Lt. Gov. of N.S and his maroon mistress Sarah Colley. They lived in Preston Nova Scotia, on the property of Sir John. The names of their children, I believe, were James Wentworth Colley born 1844 dies 1905. I believe his son was James Alexander Colley born 1874 died 1935. There is a George Colley also, born 1803 died 1893 As of 1984 there was a Charlotte Wilamina Colley in N.S.
