Collie Surname Origin

Surnames: Collie/ Bell/ Dean
I am looking for any information on the origins and roots of the surname Collie. My grandfather's middle name was Collie and no one in the family ever knew where it came from. His mother was Susie Elizabeth Bell, possible from Dale County Alabama or Washington County Florida. She was born approximately 1874-76. She was married to William Jesse Dean and their children were Lillie, John Collie, Susie, and Maude. No one else in the family ever had the name of Collie and I have done research on the Dean family going back to the early 1800's and no Collie has been found on that side so it doesn't seem to be a family name for the Deans- so I thought maybe it was a family name on the Bell side. Unfortunately, I have no information on the Bell side of the family except for Susie's name. Any ideas or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
