Anyone out there still looking? I'd like to get a tree started and also find a coat of arms (if there is one). Also does anyone know where the name Cologne comes from? Whether it's French, or German, or whatever?

I know this is old, but I have been trying to find information on my name for a long time. My grandfather (Harry Cologne) gave me a packet which has some family tree information on it. I do remember seeing the name Vincent Colonne on that tree. Does anyone have the Coat of Arms for Cologne, I've been trying to find that forever. Any help is appreciated. Also I live Virginia

David E. Graham was also my great, great grandfather. My line goes down through Horace Graham. I have been doing research on this family for several years and have quite a bit of info on them. I do however have that the Graham's had two daughters - Mary Agnes and Kate. I will happily share any info you need. There are quite a few of us "cousins" doing this research. What I would really like is a picture of David E. if anyone at all knows who has one. I am currently trying to write his biography for my last lesson in the NGS course.
Charlene Dix Trueman - my email comes up wrong on the list - it is ctrueman@cox.net

David E is my gggrandfather. Mary Jane and David had eight children, seven sons and a daughter. The sons were; Edgar, John Vicent, Richard, Herbert,Horace, Charles, and Robert. Katie was the dau. Mary Jane and David E died in Danville sometime in the late 1800's. The info I have on the Colognes is scanty. Several census reports and different spellings, etc. How much info do you have on Vicent and his wife Catherine/Kitty Donaldson?

Stan Graham
Shelton, WA

I am getting goose bumps as I write this. You have just linked a whole missing section to my family tree!!!!!!
I am so excited. So this is how it feels to do this stuff and really find out important things!
Your GGgrandfather must be David E.Graham Is this correct?
My gg grandfather was Mary Janes brother. Edgar Newton Cologne and he married Susan F. Cash 10-10-1838. I need everything after Mary and David's marriage to fill in. Do you have anything about Anne Elizabeth Cologne(3rd sibling) who married Louis La Marque? (2-2-1832) Tell me about yourself . Are you in VA or elsewhere. I am in FL however most of my family is in VA. It is still my "home"
Recently have heard from another cousin in St Louis. I will have to pass your info on to him. I am so excited can't wait to hear from you.
Millie Cologne Maneely
Panama City Florida
All I know is that Victor Colonne came from the West Indies and moved to Washington DC. I think that is when his name was changed. Has the spelling always been the same on your side? I know of lot's of Cologne's from this Victor. Are we the same. family? Where in the states are your Cologne's from?
This is so interesting. Keep me posted please. Thanks, Millie
