Surnames: Colpitts
My dad was Eric Dowey Colpitts, born in S. Shields. He married a Manx girl, my mum, and lived the rest of his life on the Isle of Man - where I was born. My grandfather and grandmother lived in Goole, Yorkshire (UK), and I have several cousins there.
My father and all Colpitts descendants on the male side have Freemanship of Newcastle (UK) as an hereditary right. (My cousin Anthony Colpitts is freeman).
