I have some Coltrider's from the Baltimore/Carroll county area. Thomas and Ruthe A. E. Richards are my great-great grandparents. Sometimes the name was spelled Kaltrider.
They had two sons, Charles E. and Andres J. Coltrider, and a daughter Rosa Belle Coltrider (who is my great-grandmother)

Ruth's great-grandfather is recognized as a Daughter's of the American Revolution. I'm a member and have the documentation if you are related and considering the Sons of the American Revolution (SOAR). SOAR opened their records for 4th of July, but I couldn't find any Richards.

William Coltriter (Coltrider), born abt 1852 in Maryland. This young man lived with Theodore and Susan Massmore in the Manchester District of Carroll Co., MD in 1860. I believe that between 1860-70, he changed his name to Summers or Sommers. He is my g-g-grandfather. Looking for ANY information on this person.
