Don: Sorry I have been slow to pick up on this but am resuming now. I think your info may be helpful if you can connect your tree to the first person on mine. That is William Colvill who is listed as descended from "Colvill of Ochiltree, Ayrshire" There are no dates for him but he had children in 1670 (daughter Janet dob August 21) and in 1695 a son Robert (dob 12th of July). I was having a hard time figuring out why he had children 25 years apart, but he two wives #1 Janet Anderson and #2 Janet Armour so maybe there is an explanation there. I am also responding to message from Bob Guthrie of May 18, 2000 as I think that may be key. Thanks Linda
