My grandfather was David Colville Howie. He was born in Kilconquhar, Fife, Scotland in 1892. It is thought that his grandmother was Elizabeth Colville, married to a James Howie who was born around 1829, possibly in Perthshire. I'm looking for any information on the Colville family to support that. I have found a Arthur Colville b. c.1792 married to a Mary Johnston b. c. 1801/1810 who had children, James, Elizabeth (my gg grandmother?), Arthur, Thomas and Mary.
