Interested in any information on James Alling Colvin and his descendants. He was b. 11/1/1837, Newark, NJ; and d. 5/9/1899, Atlanta, GA. James was a Captain during the Civil War. Married Caroline Day. According to the 1900 census, she bore nine children, and three were living at the time of the census. Know of two of the children, Edward and Andrew J. Colvin.
