Just to make things more convenient for other researchers, could you possibly re-post your query/reply on the thread I started over on the Knott board? It might be useful to more people there as a Sussex/Knott entry rather than here as an Oxford/Combes post. The thread is "Knott family in Sussex" and the specific entry about the property docs is 11th Feb 2005 (not 2004).
