Hi cousins, Looking for more information on what nationality I am!! Dad said I was Irish but the records and "The Combses Genealogy" book I have lists oldest record showing Richard Combe, his son John combs leaving Devonshire to Jamestown on the ship Marigold in 1691.

As to not put my whole family tree I willl list a few from the oldest records I have and my immediate grandparents. My tree has some interesting characters you might have heard of; John combs b.1733 d.1820 Sire of Eight Brothers and brother to "Danger Nick." Jackson John X Combs fathered 21 children with two wives, one being (Chatherine Walters 16 kids) My grandfather was EPHRAIM (BUM) Combs B.3-16-1879. He married his wife Millie Ann Griffin in Wisconsin but was born in Kentucky. Numerous family in Man, West Virginia. My grandfather reportedly had to run here to Oregon after accidently killing a black man in early 1900's.
