Thanks for the information, I would be interested to find out what happened to your Mary Comer as like you say the reason you don't know any information may be because she emigrated to new zealand. It's so frustrating though as it is all just assumptions and we can't tell for sure if this is Mary's family or not. I have not found many families though with a Mary born in Galway at the same time (1847). Anyway I will keep researching any if I find any information that links your Mary to mine, I will let you know.
