Hello cousin...I found some of your families information in a book by Abbott Lowell Cummings entitled Descendants of John and Mary Comins. Your great grandfather, David E. Comins, is listed in there along with his wives and children. This book also lists his siblings, including some you didn't list... Sanford, Rosette and Andrew.
His father, D.C. Comins is David Copp Comins, born at Woodstock, CT, Feb. 27, 1811, died April 25, 1888 at Windham. Although his wife is listed as Emily G. Austin, born in CT, ca.1812.
D.C. Comins is the son of Parker Comins & Lucy Copp, son of Parker Comins and Patty (Martha?) Flynn, son of Josiah Comins and Milleset Nisteed (Histeed?), son of Josiah Comins and Mary Frissel, son of John (Woburn) Comins and his wife Mary, (ca.1668-1751).
I believe if you search the Comins board you'll find more info on Wobrun John Comins and Mary.
