Father changed last name to Cominsky

I'm looking for any info on my orginal family name .My father was Bernard Ronald Cominsky DOB.2-22-1920 DOD.8-1987.He was married to Henrietta Vankampen and had 5 children:Carol,Merrily,Joel,Robin,and David.His siblings were Stanley, Lorrine, and Raymond.We all lived in the Chicago,Illinois area.Any help would be great!
