My Comiskeys, Cummiskys, Cumiskys, etc also come from Co Monaghan. My great grandfather Owen Cumisky married Catherine Duffy in 1864 in Chapel Taplagh. He was from the townland of Cornamuckla in Donaghmoyne Parish. They had 8 children and all came to the US in 1881, and lived in and around Newark, N J. Owen died in Newark in 1902. I tried to contact Comiskey decendants in Ireland but with no luck so far.
