I just found your query. Margaret Comly/Comley is the great-great-great-great-grandmother of my husband! His connection is through her son John L. Mason. I think that makes you at least fifth cousins.

That's as far back as I know, unfortunately. I believe that WIlliam Mason's parents are Thomas Mason and Mary Radcliffe. I learned that from another posting on Rootsweb.
