I am searching for ancestors of Robert James Commander (b.1829 NC). The following names are in this family tree. Joseph Commander-grandfather to Robert, Jared Nelson Commander-father to Robert. Robert lived in Neshoba and leake county Mississippi until 1860 when he joined the war in Bossier parrish louisiana. He married Eady Louisa Williams from leake county Mississippi. They moved to Texas between 1864-1870. They traveled with two men, Isaac G.Miller-25years old and Adam Miller-21years old. Robert James Commander and Eady Louisa settled in Tyler county-Texas and raised their family. Eady Louisa Williams-Commander (b.1844 mississippi d.1908 Texas), Robert James Commander (b.1829 NC.d.?) Robert Commander was suppose to have died and was buried in Town Bluff( woodville,Texas). There is no record of his burial in any cemetary in Tyler County at all. Eady Louisa Williams parents are a mystery also. I can't find who they were. If anyone has information on these people, I need help...
