Roxie Martin Commer and Ider/Ida J Commer were mother and daughter. I am trying to verify that they are the Roxie and Ida Commer that were married in Smith County, TX in or about 1887. Roxie's sister Mary/Margarate J Martin Curtis and her half brother W H Holsenback moved to TX a few years prior to that time. Perhaps, Roxie and her daughter came with them. They resided in Ellis and Van Zandt Counties which are adjacent to Smith County and Commer isn't that common of a name. Roxie married a man named Francis M. Towns, Ider/Ida married a man named W. W. Bullard.
I cannot find them on any census after 1880 in which they were living with Roxie's father and mother in Louisville, Winston County, MS after 1880. There is no census in 1890, and I cannot find Roxie after this - in fact, Francis M Towns is remarried in 1900. I might have found Ida, but if so, she is widowed by 1910. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
