My Great, Great, Great Grandfather Oliver Commerford emigrated from Kilkenny to Quebec in the early 1800's.
Much of the family lived in the Quebec City region untill even today. Many of the Commerford's are now french speaking.
I am decended from Oliver through to his son Patrick, then his son Patrick, my granfather Joseph, my father Patrick. I am Kevin living in British Columbia, and my son is Conor.
I have a fair bit of information on the branch of the Commerford family that resided predominantly in the St. Jean Baptiste area of Quebec City.
