I am researching the descendants of Joseph Commodore, also spelled Quamadore, Quamador, etc. He was listed as "black african" and was in Portland Township, Frontenac Co. Ontario. Descendants in Sharbot Lake, and some took homesteads later on the prairies, Saskatchewan & Manitoba. E-mail phlaps@home.com
