WONDERING if anyone is researching the above surname in Chester, SC?
I am finding that some WILDERS are WILDENS, which is certainly complicating my hunt.
My ancestors appear to have connections to COMMODORE, GREEN, SMALL, SANDERS, altho it is becoming quite difficult to sort out.
Believe given names include ISABELLA, LIZZIE, MARY, JANE, YORK and LONDON, CLARISSA, EMMA, HAGAR.
I do know that the CANTEYS and GADSENS were family friends in 1900 Hartford, CT.

I am looking for decendants of Adam & Mollie ? Commodore from Chester, SC. Adam was born around 1864. Mollie's maiden is unknown. They had 3 chidren, John who married Nanie McClure or McLure? They had 9 children. Sallie who married Will Hill and had 5 children and then their daughter Jessie. If any one has any information on this line of African-American Commodores please email me!
