Bridget Fitzgerald had a daughter Delia; Margaret, b. 1835 m. Michael Murphy (this is my connection); Mary, b.1848 m. Patt Keane; Bridget, b. ? m. to Thomas Forde; a 2nd Mary, b. 1842; Eleanor, b. ? m. John Staunton; Sarah (Sally) m. Lawrence Calhalane, and 2 Judiths - b. 1844 and 1846. Do you suppose there is a connection i.e. your Thomas is perhaps a nephew of my link, his father perhaps being a cousin to Peter Commons and Margaret Commons Murphy? Would be interested in any other information you may have. My Commons were located around Boherduff, Claremorris or possibly Crossboyne.
