There were at least two George Comp's in Perry County. The one that you are referring to (George Samuel Lee Comp) was
my great-grandfather he was married to Mary Lay(daughter of Samuel&Angelina(Drexler)Lay. George & Mary (Lay) Comp's children were Eugene Edward Comp b. abt. 1885, Annie, b. Aug. 1886, Ira E., b. Floyd, b. Sept. 1893, Minnie Florence, b. Aug. 3, 1897,(My Grandmother) and Harvey, b. Aug. 3, 1897. My grandmother and Harvey were twins. My grandmother was 1st married to her uncle James L Lay. When in 1924 he was kicked in the head with a mule and died. She married my grandfather William Shughart Kell. My grandmother and grandfather are buried at St. Peter's cemetery. Bridgeport, Pa. Hope this helps someone out there.
