There are others who have posted on this board who have more on Conrad's descendants. If you put Conrad in the search box, it will bring up those posts. No one knows for sure who Conrad's father was. Conrad first appears on the 1820 Perry Co. census, in Saville twp. I have a theory all the Comps in Perry Co. are descended from a Henry Comph/Camp/Comp who appears on the 1800 Tyrone twp., Cumberland Co. PA census with 6 young males and 3 young females in his household, but I can't prove it. My line is from a John Comp b. 1787 probably Cumberland Co. PA, d. 1873 in Bureau Co. IL.
