Vernon Compher

I am looking for information on Vernon L. Compher born around October 22 1926 and died around Feb 7 200,possibly married to a Dorothy J Compher. I have reason to believe that he may be my grandfather. I'm looking for confirmation on a relationship he may have had with my Grandmother Blanche Rosboom in 1944-46 or so. If I can prove or disoprove this information it would be very helpful.Blanche had a son who she placed for adoption and I am trying to find my father's birthfather. His mame is all I have been able to come up with. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Staci

John Compher of Loudoun County, Virginia

I am in the process of researching John Compher and Elizabeth Ault of Loudoun County, Virginia. In brief here is their immediate family:

1. John Compher. Born on 4 Dec 1773. John died on 24 Apr 1846, he was 72. Buried in New Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.

On 25 Apr 1808 when John was 34, he married Elizabeth Ault, in Loudoun County, Virginia.

They had the following children:
i.	Mary. Born on 20 Sep 1810. Mary died on 29 Oct 1854, she was 44. Buried in New Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.

ii.	Catherine. Born abt 1814. Catherine died on 20 Nov 1897, she was 83. Buried in Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, Loudoun County, Virginia.

On 24 Jul 1831 when Catherine was 17, she married Peter Stoneburner, in Loudoun County, Virginia. Born abt 1806. Peter died in Lovettsville, Loudoun County, Virginia on 7 Sep 1880, he was 74.

iii.	Elizabeth (~1816-1897)
iv.	Samuel P. (1818-1883)
v.	Joseph (1821-1908)
vi.	Lydia Ann (~1826-1883)
vii.	Jonas J. (1827-1900)
viii.	Sarah.

On 22 Mar 1836 Sarah married John Bartlett, in Loudoun County, Virginia.

ix.	William.
x.	Margaret. Margaret died bef 1846.
Margaret married Kern.

xi.	John.

I have worked up many of the Compher lines in Loudoun and I'm sure they connect, but there were a few too many John's and things get confusing. I have a lot more information than this. Anyone with Loudoun County connections, please contact me at MCP961@AOL.COM.
