Surnames: Wray, Belcher, Bullion , Barnett, Tackett, Wright, Mullins,
I am trying to clear up a bit of a mystery in that al lthe census records show Lizzie's husband as Richard Belcher but the marriage record shows Vincent Belcher. I am not sure but perhaps the clerk at that time heard the name Vinson Who was next to be married and thats what happen. I ma otsure at al lon this so don't quote me. Lizzie is the daughter of Layne and Abagail (4th wife) Compton. I cnanot find any other information about Richard. One his Death record shows him as white however for some reason the doctor wrote down Color first and then very heavily over it wrote White for the Race.
