Hello. I am just beginning to tie in a Conatser line into our family. I have a Mary Conatser born sometime between about 1800 to 1808 in Fentress Co. TN. But I also saw something where she may have been born in KY. She married William S. Walker, my 4th great grandfather about 1835 or so. Mary and William Walker had a son in 1836, born on Valentines day and his name was Abraham Washington Walker.
If this Mary is one I have reseached some, it looks like she would be descended possibly from George Christoph Conatser/Knortzer. I just can not find anything for sure about whether she was born in Fentress Co. TN or in KY. I am hoping that you may have some information that might help me. Mary Conatser and her husband William S. ( Billy ) Walker are buried in Putnam Co. TN. any help would be really appreciated..
