You are right. Old writing can appear so. Family Bible is of three generations. Electa's entry is only of a marriage to Nathan Carlton BROWN, 19 Aug 1834. He died in 1838 at Galen, Wayne Co, NY, so I assume his mariage wa at the same location. Does she appear in any of your information?
