Iam writing to inform Congdon,Penfound,Uglow,Ridgman and Dynham descendants/historians that the last grandchild Mrs Dorothy Cornaud (nee Congdon) born on the 11th July 1897 died on the 5th August 2004. Dolly was the daughter of Frederick George Congdon emmigrated from Rose Cottage Backwell Somerset(b1826 emmigrated to Sydney Australia 1883 on the Aberdeen d 1915 Nth Sydney) and Marian Elizabeth (nee Williams daughter of Annie Jessie Macbride and Vincent Williams) (m 1889 Balmain) son of Emma Uglow (daughter of Abel Uglow and Mary Ridgman m 1812 Warbstow) and John Congdon (son of George Dynham Congdon and Jane Penfound m 1825) and the last known grandchild of Emma Uglow and John Congdon. Great Aunt Dolly had a great love and pride of her family history and is survived by many nieces and nephews, gt nieces and nephews, gtgt nieces and nephews and gtgtgt nieces and nephews who all will miss her and are so grateful for the oral and documented history that she kept.
