I am searching for info on Mahala Cooper who was born in New York, possibly Wayne county area, about 1817. She married William Conger also of that area and had two children, Allen and Elsie. Elsie married Edward Robinson. They moved to La Salle County Illinois in 1847 where William died. Mahala later married Henry Ward. Among their children were Emma, Thomas and Frank Ward. Census records found several Conger families in Cato New York along with an Abraham Cooper family and an Abel Cooper in Brookfield Madison New York. Mahala lived in Brookfield after William died. Any help would be appreciated.
