I don't know if I am related to you or not. I am from the branch of Congos that are from Canada. We live in Alberta. I know of some of the congo branches that go back as far as europe, england and ireland. not sure if this helps. I have heard of some congos who went into the states from Canads if memory serves. I think I remember certain threads from Conneticut or somewhere like that. I don't know if this helps at all, that is what I found out from research though it has been so long ago that I honestly cannot remember where I got the information from. Feel free to respond if you so desire though. It is always interesting to find other Congos. My grandfather, George Congo, is the last of his brothers. They grew up in cental Alberta.
