Hi Teresa,
All indications that I am aware of in my research of the CONN line in Kentucky (my Conns were actually from Scott County Virginia and migrated to eastern Kentucky) does not indicate they were Celtic but at this point we have not been able to get past 1787 with them so the jury is still out as far as abolutes are concerned.
I would love to know where in Kentucky your CONN line is from and who your mom's parents and grandparents were/are. My specific line settled in the area of Morgan County Kentucky that later became Elliott County and there is another line (that we feel must be CONNected to us) that settled in Floyd County about thirty years before the others settled in Morgan County.
Always great to 'meet' another CONN cousin!
