I don't know if he was the father of William H., but the Trammel Conn you refer to was probably Jarred Trammel Conn, called "Tram" (and not to be confused with Gerrard Trammel Conn or Jared Trammel Conn). NOW you're confused! Since you're following the line of The Rev. Hugh Conn's son Hugh Jr, you're going to get thoroughly Trammeled before you're done. There was also a William Trammel Conn, b. Oct. 1832 in Jefferson Co. KY, lived in Union Co. KY 1842 to after 1896, and probably other Trammels I haven't run across yet, since I just started investigating along this line. Have fun.
